Terms of Use

1. Who provides the Service

The Service is operated by Impulse (legal name: IMPULSE LTDA), a Brazilian company registered under CNPJ 35.787.876/0001-04 ("Areia Score", "we"), reachable at viniciusimpulse@gmail.com.

2. What the Service is

Areia Score is an online footvolley statistics platform. Free of charge we provide: a catalogue of tournaments, matches, brackets, public rankings and basic athlete and pair profiles. Under a paid subscription ("Premium") we provide: heatmaps per player, pair and match; statistical breakdown by court quadrant and body part; advanced comparisons; PDF report downloads; and the other tools listed at /premium.

3. Account and capacity

To create an account you must be at least 18 years old, or have the authorisation and supervision of a legal guardian. You agree to provide true and up-to-date information and to keep your credentials under your sole responsibility. You are solely responsible for all activity carried out in your account.

We may refuse, suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law, or that show signs of fraud, abusive automated use or harm to third parties, with or without prior notice, depending on severity.

4. Free account and Premium plan

Creating an account is free and stays free forever. Premium is optional and billed monthly (R$ 29.90/month). It is charged immediately: on subscribing, the full amount is billed at once, with no free trial.

Recurring billing is processed by Stripe. We do not store card data on our servers. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; Premium access remains active until the end of the period already paid for. We do not refund partial periods pro rata, except where the law requires it.

Promotional coupons are valid only during the announced period, with no acquired right once discontinued.

5. Right of withdrawal

As a digital service contracted online, you may withdraw from the subscription within 7 calendar days of the first charge, under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. To exercise it, write to viniciusimpulse@gmail.com.

6. Content, data and intellectual property

Statistics displayed publicly on Areia Score may be referenced freely as long as the source is cited (areiascore.com). League, tournament and brand logos, as well as athlete photographs, belong to their respective owners and are shown only in an editorial and statistical context.

The visual identity, trademark, source code, design and organisational structure of Areia Score are protected by copyright and trademark law. Reproduction, distribution or derivative works are forbidden without prior written permission.

The Areia Score database, including the selection, organisation and arrangement of its content, the point-by-point collection methodology and the proprietary taxonomy of attacks by quadrant (Q1-Q9) and fundamentals, is protected intellectual creation under article 7, XIII of Brazilian Law 9.610/1998. Extracting, copying, reproducing or reusing the database or a substantial part of it, in whole or in part and by any means, is forbidden, including to train models, feed competing products or redistribute statistics, without prior written permission.

7. Acceptable use and automated access

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or in ways that violate third-party rights;
• Access the Service through automated means (scraping, crawlers, bots, scripts or similar tools), extract data systematically or in bulk, or bypass rate limits, caching or other technical protections;
• Reuse, redistribute, sublicense or commercialise the Service's data and statistics, in whole or in part, including to build third-party databases or train artificial intelligence models;
• Reverse engineer or interfere with the operation of the Service;
• Share account credentials with third parties or resell Premium access;
• Upload, transmit or publish defamatory, offensive or discriminatory content, or content that breaks the law.

The use of automatic services (robots, crawler, indexing etc.) as well as other methods for systematic or regular use is not permitted. The exception is search engines that respect the rules published at /robots.txt. Automated use for research or integration may be authorised case by case: write to viniciusimpulse@gmail.com.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make our best effort to keep the data accurate (including manual scout reviews), but we do not guarantee absolute accuracy, uninterrupted availability or freedom from errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Areia Score is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or data loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9. Privacy and cookies

Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, and the use of cookies by our Cookie Policy, both an integral part of these Terms.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes are announced by email to registered users at least 7 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the new version.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time by requesting deletion at viniciusimpulse@gmail.com. We may terminate or suspend access in case of breach of these Terms, without prejudice to any refunds due.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The courts of Florianópolis/SC are elected to settle any dispute arising from them, with express waiver of any other.
